Black Lace Evening Gown

Details:

  • Fabric: Sheer lace, satin, chiffon

  • Features: Deep V-back, ribbon tie closure, long lace sleeves

  • Silhouette: Fitted bodice with full-length overskirt

Created during my senior year of high school for the FCCLA Competition, this gown represents the start of my design journey. With the guidance of my fashion teacher, Malwina Mogleski, I designed and constructed this eveningwear dress and earned a gold medal.

This was the first dress I ever made, and I’ll forever treasure it and the memories I created along the way.

Black Long-Sleeve Crop Top & Gray Skirt Set

I made this two-piece set during my junior year of high school in my fashion class, and the top was actually the first shirt I ever made. The black long-sleeve crop top has a relaxed and comfortable fit.

It pairs really well with the high-waisted gray skirt. The skirt has a smooth feel and an everyday shape. This makes the whole outfit simple and easy to style in any season.

Sleeveless Black Dress

I made this cotton sleeveless dress during my Spring 2024 Sewing I class at Brookdale. This was my first project at Brookdale, where I learned the basics of pattern cutting, stitching, and garment construction. The dress has a soft drape and a slightly cinched waist, giving it a clean and flattering shape. It’s made from a soft cotton fabric. This piece represents the start of my sewing journey at Brookdale.
